We had the good fortune of connecting with David Bernard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Making sure there’s a meaning behind it, I want to make a relatable impact through my music. by doing that I love to make my storytelling a big factor in my songs. I want my songs to last long, leaving the listener with a strong connection that relates to the Current Life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My name is David Bernard I’m a singer-songwriter from Orlando, Florida. my style of music can be described as an alternative soul, my faith and love based songs have heart filling lyrics which gives me a divine connection with my listeners from all over. As a skilled and unique songwriter, I continue to make captivating music for all people to enjoy. my single, “Beauty & Bones,” and my EP, “Now We Are One,” has been my most well-known releases back in 2017, comprised of string-filled, classical, and soulful sounds that demonstrate my creative storytelling in my music. I’ve performed at many venues and colleges in South Florida and Nashville, where one of my songs “Straight to the Heart” made top 40 at the Nashville songwriting association. since then it really pushed me more into my craft. it hasn’t been easy but I’ve always kept the faith strong in my gift. I have worked with licensing platforms for tv and film placement which has always been a dream for me, I’ve also co-written with many talented independent artists that I have cross paths with over the years. I’ve learned so much from different artists like their life story, writing style, and the different genres they’ve come to discover for themselves. I want the world to know the Passionate and captivating stories I love to tell in my music, in hopes of bringing joy and peace to listeners.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to Shout out my Producer Luis Cancion, We have a strong connection, not only with music but as friends. when we work together On music we understand each other on a high level, and we both have trust in each other craft. which I believe is the best kind of musical relationship a Producer and Artist should have.
