Meet Diana Pedroni | Founder of Ximma Collective Showroom

We had the good fortune of connecting with Diana Pedroni and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I started Ximma Boutique & Collective Showroom, I wanted to create a space where women entrepreneurs feel empowered and supported. I saw many women facing unique challenges in the business world and knew I could help.

My idea was to provide resources and build a community where we can uplift each other. By offering mini stores inside our collective showroom in a shopping center, women can test the waters in the retail industry. They have the chance to meet buyers every day and gain valuable experience while building their confidence.

I believe in a step-by-step approach to entrepreneurship, encouraging my peers to take actionable steps toward their dreams, measuring their progress along the way. My hope is to create a sense of belonging and empowerment, showing that together, we can turn our dreams into reality and achieve success on our own terms.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is about curating fashion that highlights the strength and diversity of women. As the creative director of Ximma Collective, I focus on choosing concepts that resonate with our community and showcasing emerging designers and upcoming brands. It’s all about empowering individuals and telling their unique stories through fashion.

I’m especially proud of the opportunities we create for new talent to showcase their work and connect with buyers. The journey to get here hasn’t been easy; I’ve faced many challenges, but I’ve learned to stay true to my vision and lean on the amazing support of my community.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the power of collaboration. Working with other creatives has opened so many doors. I want the world to know that Ximma Collective is more than just a fashion brand; it’s a movement to uplift women and celebrate their uniqueness. Together, we can achieve great things!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
On the first day, we’ll kick off our adventure at The Falls Shopping Center, enjoying a fresh and healthy lunch at True Food Kitchen. After that, we can explore the Ximma Collective Showroom, where you’ll discover unique fashion from emerging designers. We’ll soak in the lively atmosphere, stroll around the mall, and maybe catch a movie or treat ourselves to dessert.

On the second day, we’ll head to Brickell for breakfast at a cozy café before wandering through Downtown Miami. We’ll visit the bustling Bayside Marketplace and take in the stunning waterfront views. Later, we’ll explore the beautiful Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, surrounded by its lush grounds. In the evening, we can experience the vibrant nightlife in Brickell and enjoy a delicious dinner at a trendy restaurant.

Day three will be all about Miami Beach! We’ll spend the day basking in the sun on the sandy shores of South Beach, taking breaks to swim and unwind. For lunch, we can grab a bite at a beachside café and then stroll along Ocean Drive, feeling the energy of the beach. We’ll cap off the night with dinner at one of the many lively restaurants.

On our fourth day, we’ll explore Coral Gables, starting with a visit to the stunning Venetian Pool, a picturesque place to cool off. We’ll take in the beauty of this historic spot before heading to Calle Ocho in Little Havana, where we can immerse ourselves in the vibrant Cuban culture, enjoying local shops, music, and some delicious Cuban food for lunch.

Day five will take us to Wynwood, where we’ll wander through the famous Wynwood Walls, marveling at the incredible street art and murals. After exploring unique shops and galleries, we can grab lunch at a local eatery, soaking in the artsy vibe of the area.

On the sixth day, we’ll dive into cultural experiences by visiting the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) to admire contemporary art before heading to the Frost Science Museum, where we can explore interactive exhibits and an amazing aquarium. In the evening, we’ll check out a performance at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.

Finally, on our last day, we’ll celebrate the amazing week by soaking up the lively nightlife and music scene. We can look for local venues with live music or maybe catch a concert, enjoying every moment. This week will be filled with unforgettable experiences, beautiful sights, and wonderful memories!

Absolutely! I want to dedicate my shoutout to the incredible community of women in Ximma Collective. Their support, resilience, and shared experiences have been a tremendous source of inspiration for me. Each member brings unique strength and creativity, and together, we uplift one another, fostering an environment where we can all thrive.

I also want to recognize Miguel Giffuni, whose mentorship has been invaluable in my journey. His guidance and belief in my vision have played a crucial role in helping me navigate the challenges of building my business. Additionally, I’m incredibly grateful for the administrative technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard. The books and resources from this approach have provided me with the know-how and tools needed to effectively manage and grow my venture.
