Meet Dr. Sharon Grossman | Retention Strategist, Keynote Speaker, and Executive Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Sharon Grossman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Sharon, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I started out as a burnout coach for executives, helping them manage stress and restore balance. Over time, I realized many of their struggles weren’t just personal—they were symptoms of larger workplace culture issues. Leaders were burning out because of environments that pushed unsustainable expectations and lacked the support systems employees need to thrive. That insight led me to expand my focus. Now, through Turnkey Retention Solutions, I help organizations not just prevent burnout but also reduce employee turnover by building healthier, high-retention workplace cultures.

What should our readers know about your business?
At Turnkey Retention Solutions, we help organizations reduce employee turnover by improving workplace culture—focusing on the root causes like burnout, misaligned expectations, and communication breakdowns. What sets us apart is our balance of psychology-backed strategies with real-world business practicality. I didn’t start here; I began as a burnout coach for executives. That gave me a front-row seat to the hidden costs of poor workplace culture.
Getting to this point wasn’t easy. Shifting from individual coaching to organizational work meant redefining my services, messaging, and value proposition. I had to learn how to speak to business leaders about people challenges in terms of retention and productivity rather than just wellness.
One big lesson: results matter more than good intentions. Leaders care about reducing turnover, boosting performance, and protecting their bottom line. That’s why I emphasize measurable outcomes.
What I want people to know is that workplace culture isn’t just about feel-good perks—it’s about building environments where both businesses and people can thrive sustainably. Turnkey Retention Solutions exists to make that possible.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting, I’d want them to experience both the laid-back and vibrant sides of South Florida. We’d definitely spend time at the beach—nothing beats starting the day with ocean views. For food, I’d take them to Versailles for classic Cuban dishes and Taquiza for incredible tacos. We’d stroll through Little Havana to soak up the culture, music, and art.
One day would be dedicated to snorkeling in the Keys—there’s nothing like it. In the evenings, we’d listen to live music at The Betsy Hotel, which always has a great atmosphere. And to cool off, we’d head to the Venetian Pool in Coral Gables, one of my favorite unique spots. It’s a mix of good food, nature, culture, and relaxation—everything Miami does best.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to Jorge Torres.
