We had the good fortune of connecting with Eliane Campos and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eliane, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
I’m most happy when I’m busy working with clients. I’ve created a career where I make people look and feel great while I make money doing it. Being an esthetician has increased my confidence as a skincare professional. My joyful energy attracts clients who are seeking solutions to their skincare issues. Many of my clients have a become my friends.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I provide skincare and retail services to clients seeking improvements in their skincare routines. I customize each client’s treatment to fit his/her individual needs, adding a personal touch of joy and positive energy to the experience. I aim to deliver to the same excellent service I would like to receive myself, using only the highest quality products. Since I moved here from Brazil speaking minimal English, my journey in skincare hasn’t been easy to say the least. My brand was built from scratch, little by little. Over time I found techniques and business strategies that work well while scratching others that did not. I’ve learned how to value my time, my services and I feel confident with my pricing for treatments. I’ve never had any investors in my business, rather I’ve relied on my hard work and determined spirit to propel my current successful skincare business–EC Beauty Bar. I guess you can say my hard work and open heart has gotten me where I am today.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Firstly, I would take my friend to the Marina del Rey and Malibu Beaches. We’d also go visit Santa Monica Pier for a ride on the Ferris wheel. For Breakfast, I’d love to take her to Gjusta in Venice and also visit Erewhon market for their fantastic food selections. For drinks, Javier’s in Century City or The Polo Lounge at Beverly Hills Hotel. We could also go visit the Griffith Observatory, Roosevelt Hotel and hike Los Lions Mountains. And finally, we’d have stroll along Rodeo Dr, Venice Board Walk and Abbot Kinney.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Firstly, I’d like to send a shoutout to my son’s father for supporting my education and also to my son for the times I’ve been unable to spend with him due to study or to work. Also, my friends Flavia, Ana Flavia and Meenoy for give me support, and Jennifer for always helping me with business strategies and improving my English skills.
