We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric Martinez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eric, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When we started the business we said one thing to help individuals have a lifetime of good health and well-being. we really didn’t think it out at the beginning, we said this is what we are going to do and that’s it. whatever happens we will take it head on

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
At this very moment, I am one of 23 Registered Clinical Exercise physiologists in Florida. This is not an easy achievement in the world of Exercise Physiology to get. Along with several other specialty licenses and certifications, Some are Limited X-ray tech, and others allowed me to practice Taping, cupping, Stretching, Neurophysiology, lymphatics, and more.

But growing up I never really had the support to achieve these things. I was the quiet fat kid with asthma that most adults said had a mental disability and that was not going to achieve anything in life.

Long story short I found a passion for health and fitness in 8th grade and I started just reading as many things as I can about the topic and I never looked back. It turns out that I just needed to find the right passion to steer me to where I am now and know that no matter what happens I can help people by doing something I love.

Even if It meant stepping out of my comfort zone and working day and night for years to get to where we are now

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Knowing my self i would take them to the parks, get some coffee in 8th street, and hangout around Brickell Miami.

Other places to visit wold be viscaya, the frost museum and even grab a show at the arsht center

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
