Hi Fanny, every day, we know how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I launched my dress rental business after struggling to find stylish, affordable dresses for special occasions. While clothing rental isn’t a new idea, most services require monthly subscriptions and are hardly sustainable like Rent the Runway which has thousands of units.

I wanted to create a more flexible and sustainable solution. My business offers a curated collection of high-quality pieces from independent brands, available for rent only when needed, no long-term commitments. I personally source each item and handle all cleaning to ensure quality and sustainability.

My goal is simple: to give women like me an affordable way to wear something beautiful without resorting to fast fashion or overspending. It’s rental made easy, ethical, and accessible

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Rentala works like your favorite boutique – but way more affordable because you’re renting! Just pick your dress, choose your dates, and we handle the rest. Wear it, return it in the bag we provide, and we’ll take care of the cleaning. No subscriptions, no hassle – just simple, stylish rentals.

Since starting Rentala, I’ve learned that launching a business isn’t the hard part – growing it is. My biggest challenge has been spreading the word naturally and showing people how easy renting can be. Did you know most celebrities rent their outfits? We can do it too! Whether it’s for weddings, vacations, photoshoots, or just a night out, Rentala makes looking amazing easy and affordable.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For the perfect Miami day, start with breakfast at Tinta y Café, then soak in the beauty of Vizcaya’s gardens. Hit the beach—because no Miami trip is complete without it! Later, grab a stylish rental dress from me at Rentala, then head to Mandolin for delicious Greek food And end the night at Sylvester for some dancing!
