We had the good fortune of connecting with Felipe Echeverri and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Felipe, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Without risk there is no opportunity to create.
Being an entrepeneur is being at risk everytime you try to grow, create or develop a new project.
Risk is the key to come with new ideas and is the game chamging if it works out, wich it always does if you are perseverant and persistant.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We are a BBQ Catering Experiences and food is just an excuse to share our love to the people.
The pleasure to serve, create smiles and make people live an experience like never before is always our goal.
After many years being a hotelier and restaurant owner and manager, covid forced us to become a catering project. Few years later we are here as the only bbq catering provider in Miami with service at land and sea.
It has not been easy and the Challenges are always hitting you in your face but nothing you can’t take down with perseverance and greatfulness.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
You did not come to Miami if you did not go to the beach or jumped on a boat.
Cruising around the bay on a boat is a must.
Not really into fancy names or big restaurants so I will love to take him to little joints down the keys, hollywood beach or little havanna.
Walk at the beach, visit sone of the state parks, do some kayaking or riding a bike at one of the trails at Virginia Key or Oleta River.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Wife for always being there and accepting the challenges by my side, my family for an incredible support, Full Life my church for teaching me how to be a better person and to my one and only GOd because he is the one that allows all the good things to happen.
