We had the good fortune of connecting with Desiree Byfield and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Desiree, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
Business has taught me not to take the lack of support from family, friends, and sometimes strangers personally. Entrepreneurship has taught me to get it on my own and solely just focus on those whose support comes with ease.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m most proud of the longevity of our business it was formed in 2016 and our brand is still steadily growing in 2022. Creating and maintaining a brand definitely has not been easy but as a entrepreneur you have to go into this with a clear understanding that you’re creating this from scratch. I’ve overcome the challenges by changing and reprogramming my mindset I had to learn to be more patient and resilient especially after the start of the pandemic. The lessons that I’ve learned along the way are learning to accept support from others realistically you can’t do everything alone. I’ve learned to focus only on my supporters and I’ve learned with the help of the pandemic you have to learn to adapt and adjust quickly it’s all apart of the game with being an entrepreneur.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Okay let’s see I live in West Palm Beach Florida so we would definitely eat at the cute little day brunch restaurants with heavy greenery decorating the space so we can get cute photos for the socials. Probably visit the beaches of Fl. The most beautiful beaches ever! We would probably go check out Selfie World in boca and maybe end it off with a private yacht tour.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
