We had the good fortune of connecting with Francine Jayme and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Francine, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
At that time in my life, I was a stay-at-home mom who deeply valued being present for my family, but I also felt a strong desire for independence, personal fulfillment, and growth. I wanted a career that would allow me flexibility, financial rewards, and the freedom to build something of my own. Starting my business was my way of honoring both roles—being a devoted mother while creating a life and career that truly fulfilled me.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is centered on transformation, confidence, and intention. Through lashes, brows, permanent makeup, and education, I enhance natural beauty while helping people feel empowered and seen. What sets me apart is the balance between technical precision, artistry, and mentorship—every service and every student is approached with purpose.
My journey into the beauty industry began while I was a stay-at-home mom seeking fulfillment, flexibility, and independence. I entered the field without connections and faced moments of doubt, starting over, and rebuilding—but I stayed committed to learning, growth, and consistency. That dedication led to the creation of Lash & Ink Studio, international certifications, award nominations, and the opportunity to mentor other artists.
What I’m most proud of is building a brand that goes beyond services. Lash & Ink Studio represents empowerment, education, and elevated beauty experiences. My story is proof that with resilience, vision, and heart, it’s possible to build something meaningful while lifting others along the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love going out and exploring different restaurants, coffee shops, beaches here in S. Florida, my favorite local beach is Pompano beach where I can buy a drink at Lucky fish and relax by the water, I’m also a big fan of little weekend trips every chance I get, for me life is a balance between work hard and play hard

And a special shout-out to my husband, who believed in me from the very beginning and continues to support me as I pursue my dreams and ambitions. Having his encouragement by my side has made this journey even more meaningful.
