We had the good fortune of connecting with Frank McMahon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Frank, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
The main aspect of the film and audio production industry that most are unaware of would be how often the creative decision making process usually comes down to a few people and how much they can affect the entire outcome of a project. When productions reveal what goes on behind the scenes, it is evident that their are many moving parts; however, the creative process of birthing an intellectual property is not as collaborative of an effort as it may seem. For example, the collaboration of ideas becomes increasingly more difficult from both an organization and ideological stand point when multiple parties are involved. Many people have ideas, less have good ideas and only one or two have ideas that work.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My creative journey started when I was young and I have fortunately had a fairly easy go of it since I personally did not start my brand until I had a stable job and a steady living situation. Growing up I was always encouraged to work on what I loved to do. The idea to create my own brand came from the desire to move away from the 9-5 and make a living doing what I wanted to with people who I trust and admire for their talents. This is where Revolt Entertainment comes in. It’s not too entirely different from most entrepreneurs but as a group, we feel we are set in a lucrative spot at a time when most people may not be thinking about forming their own business. Our brand is still fairly new but we have so much to offer. We are extremely excited to work on projects that take us out of our comfort zone and challenge our collective creativity whether it be a large production music video or working on a solo artist’s debut album. Revolt Entertainment is a one stop for so many people, especially for creatives on multiple levels.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Unfortunately neither myself or any of my business partners have enough free time to take our friends on a night out haha But given the chance, I’d probably opt to do something low key. There are plenty of wonderful places with a great atmosphere in the city I reside. There’s also always the beach especially since it’s only a fifteen minute drive from me.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My passion comes form my lifelong love for the arts such as music and film. I want to thank my parents and my family for the encouragement to pursue and perfect my craft.
