We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriela Guzman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabriela, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I could probably say so many things but to me, the most important factor behind my success has been consistency. I have been through many ups and downs and the one thing that has helped me throughout it all was the fact that I have always stayed consistent. More specifically, I have never drifted from my vision and I have always been one to take action. I make sure to keep things going, to keep myself busy. I think it is easy to get distracted and the fact that I have always, (no matter what) had tunnel vision. That consistency in my life has proven that whatever you want to achieve is 100% attainable, so long as you never stop. That also means knowing when and what to let go, even if that means having to re-inventing yourself but no matter what, you must never stop.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I never thought I would do anything other than owning my own brand. Almost 14 years as a business and over 10 years of being self employed. I am so proud of myself for taking a risk and trying something new, it is really never too late. I still juggle both business while I scale my real estate career, which I absolutely love! I think what helps my confidence is that fact that I know nothing comes easy and things take time to develop. I was able to scale my clothing brand and find a niche in the market, my plan is to do the same with real estate. Although both careers are different, the core of running a business remains the same.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There is plenty to do in Miami but we will definitely be going to the beach as much as possible. One of my favorite spots is mid beach in Miami or Key Biscayne. There are also plenty of places to eat and explore in the Coconut Grove, Wynwood and downtown Miami

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am so grateful for my family and friends that have supported my vision since day 1. It’s really great to know there are people you can count on for a simple “good luck” or “keep going”. Meaningful words from people that care about you can’t be topped!
