Meet Giovanni DC | Music Producer & Owner of GDC Productions

We had the good fortune of connecting with Giovanni DC and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Giovanni, what inspires you?
I would say that am inspired by the endless possibilities to turn nothing into something. you know once you take that leap of faith of creating something, it drives you to do more and see the unknown and what else you can accomplish by building something from the ground up.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being from Cleveland, Ohio I started Producing music about 5 years ago even though I’ve always had this passion for music and the production I knew eventually one day that I would take it serious. I grew up around music with my family being apart of the industry back in the day, that was something that was always in the back of my mind that I would want to pursue. So about five years ago I decided to take that leap and take it serious as a career.

I would say I am most proud of how far I have came, the things I had to overcome to get to this point you know I look back and it was hard to get through but I found a way to keep moving forward and believing in myself, and that’s something that I am proud of.

It definitely was not easy and to this day is still not easy you know you have to work really hard not just in this career but with anything that you decide to build from the ground up. I have spent plenty hours and late nights teaching myself how to make music. Even once you get better at that, you have to also know and get comfortable with networking which is really important with this business.

Some of the lessons I learned along the way Is to make sure your business is right. make sure that whenever someone wants to do business with you make sure you take the time to evaluate the situation and see if its the best fit for you. You learn along the way some lessons and things that you can do better at, but also evaluate the people that you want to bring around your business as it is your business and your brand you know you want to be represented the right way and surrounding yourself with the right people will go along way.

One thing I want the world to know about my brand and story is that this is just the beginning for me and my brand, you will hear a lot from me in the near future. Another thing I want to say is that if you have a dream or a passion for something go after it, do something you love to do and never give up its for sure a process but if you see it through you will see progress and it will drive you to accomplish more. Believe in yourself no matter what anyone else says if you do that the sky in the limit, there will be endless possibilities.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being in the Orlando area now I would say there is a lot things to do here. They have things like universal and they have some good nightclubs, and food for the most part. I haven’t really had the chance to explore everything for the fact that I just moved down here, So maybe in the near future I can give you a better list on things to do in the area.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank My family and those close to me for believing in me and what I can accomplish. They push me to be a better version of myself, to keep going and, bring the best out of me when it comes to just life and my career.
