We had the good fortune of connecting with Heidi Ronquillo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Heidi, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started a business because I wanted to do something I love, had passion for and the one thing I found that I could do for the rest of my life up until I take my last breathe is the work as a spiritual healer and teacher in my community and owning a business in spiritual healing and sacred sexuality was just the thing. 

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Purple Lotus Spiritual Healing, offers services and tools to restore peace, bring balance and re-awakening to our authentic self through Tantra, Cosmic Sexuality, Reiki, Womb Healing sessions, Self-Love coaching and more. As owner and  healer of the company what set me apart is that every single one of the services I offer are practices that have helped me through my spiritual growth and practice, ive personally experienced the transformation these services offer to my clients and community. I practice daily everything I teach and offer. Some the lessons I’ve learned is to never give up no matter how hard or pointless it seems. It always works out in the end just keep pushing through, trusting in the universe and having faith and trust in yourself. 

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Now that Redfish has reopened that would probably be one of the stops on the itinerary, along with a stop at the beach, try the croquetas from isla canarias, walk through Wynwood to check out some amazing spots.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’ve always been spiritual and wanted to do what I do now as a young child. What kicked it off for me as a child was a yoga at home book I opened up when I was about 10 yrs old and then later on in life it was a family friend named Patti who ended up being the one who is always cheering me on and I’d like to dedicate this to her and to my kids because they continue to be my motivation, showing them you can do anything you put your mind and soul into.
