We had the good fortune of connecting with Insightful Therapists and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Insightful Therapists, how does your business help the community?
Our private practice at Insightful Therapists aims to assist individuals in healing deep wounds from their past, regaining their sense of self, increasing their self-esteem, confidence levels, improving their relationships and overall quality of life through individual and group therapy sessions. We also take the time to work with and develop new therapists and their skills to ensure quality care within the mental health field. We currently supervise a total of 5 registered mental health counseling interns and support them on their journey to becoming licensed therapists.
At Insightful Therapists, our mission is to impact the minds of many. Our vision is to not only impact individuals in our local community but also individuals worldwide through the use of social media.
We have dedicated a lot of time and effort to creating and posting valuable content on various mental health topics to positively impact others worldwide who may not have access to therapy or various resources. – Ali Owoc

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
“One of the biggest factors that sets us apart from others and has greatly contributed to our success is our genuine desire to help others heal. Without this genuine desire to help others, our success would not be possible. Our clients, supervisees and followers, all know that our hearts are fully committed to providing the highest quality of information, service, and support to those that we serve.” – Ali Owoc

“Building anything takes time, energy, effort, and a vision. Ali and I continuously recommit ourselves to, first and foremost, providing tremendous and transformational value to our clients and to the community! From this approach, we naturally find success in our business. Yes, there have been challenges and we use the same tools we teach our clients, to help us best navigate through those challenges. We choose to accept and even welcome them, as they offer the opportunity for growth and expansion and continuously remind each other that we are more-than-capable of figuring out how to best navigate them, with integrity and efficiency. The same message we love to empower our clients with.” – Andrea Kupferman

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
What a fun question!

Exploring our own city is something Ali and I do often. For a week long trip, we would most defiantly explore a variety of places – getting a little but fully satisfying taste of what South Florida has to offer.
“For great food, we’d visit some places on the water. Some of my favorites in Fort Lauderdale are Dune, Thasos and Blue Moon Fish Co. – which has an amazing brunch! Dal Contadino is one of the best and authentic Italian restaurants I have been to in South Florida!
The Wilder plays an eclectic set of music and is a great spot to go dancing.
For a great show, the Mermaid Show at the Wreck Bar in the B Ocean Hotel, is such a great experience!
Renting a boat, jet ski, or paddle board and cruising along one of the many “finger lakes” Fort Lauderdale has to offer, is a refreshing outdoor activity. My favorite part of this is taking a route where we are surrounded by mega yachts parked in marinas and mansions on either side of the water!
A cute, old school arcade called Glitch Bar, is a fun throw-back experience. They are packed with old school, classic arcade games!
If we are feeling extra adventurous, we can take the Brightline either north to West Palm Beach or South to Miami. A must when visiting Miami is to go to Wynwood, for a fun, artsy, vibe.
This is a great start…with many more places to see and things to do, South Florida has a little bit of *almost* everything. We don’t get snow here, though.” -Andrea Kupferman

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We want to recognize our clients. They are brave enough to recognize they want help. That takes courage! They are ready, able, and willing to do what it takes to heal. That takes commitment. We are beyond grateful that they entrust us to help guide them along their healing journey. – Ali and Andrea
