We had the good fortune of connecting with Luka Hrvatic and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Luka, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my business was – I want to work for myself. Every decision I make is mine responsibility. Also, I’m the one deciding my schedule, amount and theme of work. Owning a business is like building a house – but on your own terms, you get to decide the size of windows, color of the walls and design. It is a lot more work, then going to “work”, but it pays out at the end.
What should our readers know about your business?
Always follow your dreams. Follow that inner voice which tells you what to do. The voice knows. Getting to where you want to be is hard. It takes time, dedication, money. If you love what you do, and you do what you love – the journey to there is going to be the best thing you are going to get out of it. Because the idea of “where you want to be” is just that – an idea. Its the journey that counts, that you are going to remember.
In my opinion, there are no problems – just situations that we then “re-brand” to problems. Be an honest, positive and forward looking person and your “problems” will seem solvable – always!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In Zagreb, Croatia there are many beautiful places to visit. I could spend a whole day talking about them. I would take my best friend to get something to eat – a burger or sushi that are popular here. Then we would take a car and drive to the coast. Cristal blue sea, sandy beaches, more that a thousand islands. Croatia is known for the coast.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A lot of factors influenced my decision to start my business. I’d like to thank my parents who supported this idea instead of going the traditional route, finishing college and getting a job.
My mentors, Dado and Sasha, who inspired me the most.
YouTubers, filmmakers and content creators. We are creatives who create feelings, emotions, memories. Keep on creating.
