Meet Ivan Yanez: Visual artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ivan Yanez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ivan, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think risk is part of life. We have risk all the time since we are born. But then you grow up and you start realizing what risk means. I think is a way of living. In my career and in my life risk is part of the routine. Sometimes you have to take risk to get what you want. You have to risk to make your dreams come true and you have to take risk to go and get what you want in this lifetime. 

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is a combination of shapes and colors. I think everybody is unique so every artists has their on light. I do my thing I like what I do and I allways try to do my best. I got here with incalculable hours of painting and a lot of sacrifice. But having fun too. No of course is not easy, depends on the levels I guess. I overcome challenges transmuting the energy’s or situations to positive energy. And with faith and God. The lessons that I learned are that you don’t have to give up never. I have a project called Love Invasion hopefully I can bring it around the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Miami is a big city full of options so probably Ill take them to the beach first nicky beach if is Sunday if not any other beach is good. Bring drinks and snacks maybe. After restaurants there are all over depending on the moment. Peruvian food is allways a good idea. In the afternoon wynwood is allways something happening there so wynwood will be my option of fort lauderdale or south beach who knows. At night if you still in wynwood there’s a bar called wood tavern you can go there to have some drinks maybe then there’s clubs available like space El patio shoots cafeina or 100 or more options. South beach is full of bars and clubs too like mint,nicky beach etc.Then if you wanna visit places you can go to key west. museums or parks depending what you want.

I always dedicated my art and what I do to God. Glory to God!
