Hi Jared, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business wasn’t part of some master plan—it was more like a mix of necessity, frustration, and a gut feeling that I could do things better than what was being offered in the market at that time. I was actually working in a completely different industry, but I had a knack for sales and operations. I liked working with business owners and successful leaders, and I saw an opportunity to provide them with incredible value in a way that wasn’t being offered in the market.
So my initial thought process was simple: solve one big problem for my client, gain their trust, and keep providing value. If I could do that consistently, the business would grow naturally. That’s what led me to build NewVine Employment Group and, more recently, VINE—our AI-powered talent partner.
I saw too many businesses struggling with outdated hiring methods, slow & costly processes, and recruiters who were more focused on their own interests rather than actually solving problems. I thought, What if hiring could be faster, smarter, and actually help businesses grow?
It was absolutely a risky, But I’d rather take a calculated risk on my own vision than sit back and wonder what if?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Miami for a week (assuming they’d never visited before), I’d make sure they had the ultimate mix of luxury, culture, adventure, and, of course, incredible food. Here’s how I’d plan it out:

Start with Ocean Drive Vibes, visiting Miami Beach.
Rent a yacht for the day! Cruise around Biscayne Bay, visit the Sandbar at Haulover.
Definitely Play a round of golf, probably at the Biltmore.
You can’t visit Miami without having Cuban food. So grab a Cuban sandwich and café con leche or colada.
Stroll through Wynwood – check out street art, galleries, and the Wynwood Walls.
Dinner at Carbone Miami is a must! – If we can get a table!
Cocktails at a speakeasy with high quality drinks.
