Meet Jassier Medel | Owner and Founder of Kenzo Mobile Detailing

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jassier Medel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jassier, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My family. During the pandemic I was working at a trucking company managing truck drivers. We were an essential company so we were kept open and eventually transitioned to working from home. My son was just born, so being home was a blessing. I was able to see his first crawl, his first laugh, and his first steps. I would have missed out on all of that if I would have continued working 10 hours and an additional hour for travel to and from the office. Once they made us go back into that same routine, I decided to start a business doing something I was great at to be present in my loved ones lives, not just living to work.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our business is not concentrated on just giving your vehicles a local “car wash”. We strive for perfection each time we go out to a client. We are detailers and we mean just that when it comes to providing our services. We’re also mobile, meaning we come to you. We know our clients have busy lives, so we pride ourselves in making their lives just a tad bit easier, knowing they won’t have to spend their valuable time tending to their vehicle. We’re proud of the accomplishments we’ve made which included moving our business from South NJ to Fort Lauderdale, FL. Which we would say is also the biggest challenge we’ve faced. Getting our name out there being the new guys in town, doesn’t come easy. We’ve been slowly building a name for ourselves, one happy customer or company at a time. We’d like the world to know how dedicated we are as individuals and as a small growing team. I’ve personally had years of experience working with customers which has given us the upper hand versus our competition. We know what works, what you expect, and how to make your experience A+.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to sight see the beautiful beachside sceneries that Fort Lauderdale and it’s surrounding areas have to offer. Bayside in Miami would definitely be one of those stops. They’ve a wide selection of restaurants and bars as well as the beautiful sky view wheel, speedboats, and boat tours. I’ve had the most fun at Mangos in Miami. They have great music, food, drinks, and live singing and dancing which makes everything even more exciting for a night out.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My wife has been my biggest supporter. She’s never held me back from chasing my goals and dreams. She sees the best in me, which in turn motivates me to be the best version I can be.
