We had the good fortune of connecting with Jay Toledo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jay, what principle do you value most?
The principle that matters most to me is creating and sharing music out of pure love for it. For me, music isn’t just about following trends or chasing quick success-it’s about staying as true as possible to my own sound while constantly pushing boundaries. I want to explore new ideas, experiment with energy and emotion, and grow without losing that authenticity. At the same time, I aim to connect with new listeners and fans along the way, because the real reward is building a community through music that feels genuine and alive.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy, but it’s always been fueled by the belief in having no limits. I’ve drawn inspiration from all kinds of genres, finding ways to fuse them into something new and authentic. My roots in rock and metal naturally pulled me toward the harder, darker side of industrial techno, and that’s where I’ve found my voice. Along the way, I’ve learned that challenges are part of growth-you have to embrace them, stay true to your sound, and keep pushing boundaries. What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that it’s about authenticity, energy, and building a community through music that feels raw, powerful, and alive.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting, I’d show them the beautiful city of Miami-starting with the skyline views that make this place so special. We’d enjoy authentic Hispanic food that captures the real flavor of the city, and spend time soaking in the energy that makes Miami unlike anywhere else.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would give credit to Domicile Miami-for building a one-of-a-kind community that stays true to the rave culture, brings never-before-heard talent to the city, and helps others in the community grow.
