We had the good fortune of connecting with Jedaiah Brereton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jedaiah, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my faith in Jesus Christ. I heavily rely on my faith to open new doors and guide me through life as a young adult. I try my best to live a righteous life for Jesus and know wholeheartedly that if I follow his will, God will supply all of my needs according to his riches and Glory.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think on social media what sets me apart from other content, creators is my boldness when speaking about Jesus. I used to care so much about what other people thought about me and realized that the only opinion that matters is what God says about me. So I started sharing the gospel. I think one thing that I am most proud about in my journey so far was vlogmas 2024, which, if you don’t know is posting one Vlog every day in the month of December until Christmas. That was really a challenge for me because editing for hours every night was very strenuous, but through the grace and strength of Jesus I did it.
I believe the only reason I am where I am professionally is because of my obedience to God. Its definitely not easy because sometimes God tells us to do things that we don’t necessarily like or want to do but through obedience, we do it anyway I don’t think it was easy. I don’t think anything good is easy. I had to start over from scratch so many times and I constantly. Battle with the thought of giving up but every time I think about giving up God, sends somebody to motivate me to keep going. One thing I can say that helps me to continue going and is kind of the whole purpose, when I share my story, my testimony, it shakes me to my core when I hear it helped someone. And it reminds me that we don’t go through what we go through for us, but to help other people..
If it’s one thing that I want the world to know about my brand is that redemption is possible when you place your faith in Jesus Christ.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the area and I wanted to make sure they have the best vacation, I would take them to church so they could meet my amazing community. I would take them to my favorite Trini restaurant. Grab a roti and a solo. And introduce them to delicious Trinidadian food. I would 100% make sure they met my youth pastor Pastor Chris and everyone at abide ( my young adult group). I would also take them vintage thrift shopping. And to also visit farms in Davie.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Obviously number one is JESUS CHRIST but right after that is my grandma Thelma Lee Foon who sacrificed her life to raise me. I love my grandma dearly and I am so grateful for her.
