We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenifer Efromovich Klepacz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenifer, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risks and putting ourselves out there is what makes us stronger and is the best way to learn in all aspects of our lives. Challanges are there to be faced and once we move forward and achieve our goals the feeling of accomplishment makes us feel better human beings. Having to start my career in 3 different cities and 02 different countries has been one of the biggest challenges in my professional life.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What I think that sets us apart from others is that besides a very well tailored made custom project we also want to activate our client’s 5 senses letting them to experience their new designs. We are always excited with new clients and different challenges in each design. Like every other career, we need to put ourselves out there to be able to learn and show everyone what we are capable off and for that there is always a lot of effort and hard work involved.
So I have learned that trusting yourself, your gut, your work, being humble will take you anywhere you want.
There is a huge privilege on being a foreigner and being able to deliver a different vision and design that people are used to and we take advantage of that delivering amazing experiences and designs to oir clients.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
At first we would stop at the beach; the ocean gives me a relax feeling making me feel at peace. We would also visit south point park adn lincon road, both important tourist area to go. Winwood and the design district would also be included with a pit stop for lunch at mandolin or doya restaurant. Visiting ballhabour shops and eating at Makoto would also be another amazing way to spend the day. Going up north to las Olas, around shops and restaurant would also be included.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family and friends will always deserve my recognition for me getting where I am but I have a special thank you to my past clients that are the ones through mouth to mouth help me to continue working for amazing people!
