Meet Jenna Quinter | | Digital Marketing Maven, Fitness Enthusiast & Empowerment Advocate

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenna Quinter and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenna, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
Hey there friend! I’m Jenna, and my journey kicks off in Hawkins, TX, where I grew up on a small peach orchard and with a senior class of only 30 people, we could be the lyrics of a country song. Picture the one-stoplight vibe, and yep, that was my life! Battling early bullying fueled my dreams for something more, pushing me to cultivate a strong work ethic, a touch of grit, and a community built on kindness.
At 18, it was time to leave my small town behind. Fast forward to experiencing the diversity of cities like Tyler, Scottsdale, Cheyenne, Denver, Vegas, Crystal City, DC, National Harbor, and Knoxville. Each city brought something unique, teaching me not just to explore what’s around the corner but also to adapt. Each city added a unique chapter, teaching me not just to explore what’s around the corner but to adapt. I can rough it under the stars, dine in a 5-star resort, and even navigate a movie set in a Rally Fighter (I’m SAG eligible) and, yes, even make embarrassing Lord Farquaad comparisons to celebrities like Wayne Gretzky. Oh, and about that embarrassing Wayne Gretzky encounter – yes, it happened, and he found my boldness quite amusing. (I was 19 and had no clue who he was. My Uncle was more embarrassed than I was!)
Professionally, my journey has been a rollercoaster – from selling luxury vehicles to working private events with rock stars and athletes, even meeting John Sculley, Apple’s CEO. I juggled at least three jobs, putting myself through school at Arizona State University during challenging times (around 2008-2010). I wasn’t afraid to reach out directly to industry giants like Elon Musk – it led to a call from Tesla. Pro tip: Don’t hesitate to email the owner of a company; it works!
Eventually as my career settled I met my amazing and supportive husband and moved to Florida. My family is my anchor… Conrad, and my sweet little girl Azalea whom just turned two! I also have a husky shepherd who is 8 years old. Shes always a puppy in my eyes though. Motherhood is amazing, and I’m on a mission to empower fellow mama’s.
I used to compete in fitness, but then I hurt my back. Even though life threw me a curveball, I’m all about getting fit again and helping others do the same. I do offer a free fitness guide because I’m still all about reclaiming your life and guiding others on a transformative journey. Check out @JennaCamilleBurns for some mom bod wisdom on insta!
In the realm of work when I’m not peeling stickers off my face or cleaning finger paints out of my clothes haha, I’m all about digital marketing and consulting, helping businesses thrive. My websites, TheSelfMadeBabe.com and SelfMadeBabes.com, are my platforms to cheer on women and share valuable insights about life, business and being a new mama….
In addition to my professional endeavors, I am deeply passionate about giving back to the community. I actively support homeless individuals and battered women through regular donations of food, money, and clothing. Making a positive impact on the lives of those in need is a cause close to my heart.
Growing up with “yes ma’am” and “no sir” values, I’m not shy about asking for what I want. My old boss, who graduated from Harvard and Princeton and a Marine, taught me it’s okay to ask for forgiveness instead of permission. That’s me, Jenna – embracing a mix of experiences, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to go after what I want. My journey reflects a blend of resilience, family values, and a commitment to making a positive impact. Explore even more on JennaQuinter.com
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
First and foremost I’m a stay-at-home mom which is a job in its self!! juggling life and work is crazy and there is NO BALANCE. You need to hire people to help you do things you aren’t good at and focus on the things you are good at. TAKE MASSIVE ACTION. Create over consume.
What sets me apart? Well, I bring a genuine touch to digital marketing and consulting. I’m proud of empowering women through TheSelfMadeBabe.com, SelfMadeBabes.com, and my consulting venture, PokitBoss Agency – it’s like a virtual coffee chat for support. (I originally won startup weekend with my app idea in Tempe Arizona but I pivoted and decided to keep the name.) LEARN TO FAIL FAST. Success loves speed. Pivot of things aren’t going as planned . Only focus on the the things that are your money makers!!
Getting here wasn’t a walk in the park…. late nights, doubts, and questioning if I’m on the right track. But every challenge turned into a lesson. I learned that success isn’t a magic trick; it’s consistent effort and being open to change. Don’t let rejection or no hold you back!!!!
I started with multiple jobs, reaching out to big names like Elon Musk (yes, I emailed him!), and learning from a boss who was a Harvard and Princeton grad and a Marine. Lessons? Embrace change, build real connections, and never underestimate the power of kindness.
My brand? It’s a mix of expertise, heart, and a touch of grit. I’m not claiming to be anything special – just a mom navigating this crazy journey. So, if you’re a fellow mama squeezing work between diaper changes, you’re not alone. Let’s make every day count!
Here’s a reel I recently created about 6 years work of knowledge in 1 min…:)

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In my life’s journey, there are incredible people and moments that deserve a special shoutout:
Firstly, huge thanks to my late grandparents and mom for teaching me to dream big and go after the big blue marble. Growing up on a peach orchard in Hawkins, TX, they taught me about hard work and resilience. Their support shaped my determination.
Next, my husband, Conrad, is like the anchor of my family. As we welcomed our daughter, Azalea, into the world, they became the heartbeats of my life.
In the professional world, shoutout to Elon Musk for responding when I reached out during tough times. My former boss John B. Rogers Jr a Harvard and Princeton grad and Marine, also deserves credit for shaping my approach to asking for forgiveness instead of permission. A special thank you to David Leiberman, whose kindness provided me a home after graduation in 2010. My Uncle Adam for bringing me to some amazing sports events and touring ASU with me. My Uncle Chuck & Aunt Sheri for raising me as their own child when I was 6. My Dad for showing me the adventures I can go on in the Rocky’s. He taught me to be gentle with butterfly’s and feed the frogs…
I’m grateful for the incredible women I’ve met on my journey, both in person and through platforms like TheSelfMadeBabe.com. Their stories inspire my commitment to empowering women and building a supportive community.
Volunteering with the American Heart Association and the Junior League Club of Palm Beaches added powerful notes to my story, fueled by a $250 inheritance from my grandma. Which was the price of dues.
The Palm Beach Chamber introduced me to inspiring entrepreneurs,
My beautiful friend Francis Gamarra always invited me to events and through one of our last trips I met Jeff Kulek, GM of The London West Hollywood Hotel. He became an angel during tough times, gifting my husband and I a week in their Penthouse. We were a couple who got married during the pandemic and experienced some hardships financially. You never know who might want to bless you and your loved ones. Always be kind to others.
Doug & Amy Avdellas have been amazing business mentors and friends to my husband and I. He owns a background checking company called Atlantic Employee Screening. He is also a real estate broker and owns Creative Realty.
To all these amazing people and moments, a resounding thank you. You’ve added depth, harmony, and meaning to the melodies of my unfolding journey.
