We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenna Rogers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenna, what makes you happy? Why?
Making a positive impact on the lives of others through the beauty and joy of plants makes me happy. Think about it; when you drive by a house without any plants in the yard or on the front porch, it feels a little cold and sad, doesn’t it? When you add even a single plant to the scene, somehow it seems a little warmer and just a bit more full of life. A house or apartment overflowing with flora and fauna, dressed to the nines in shades of green brings so much life to the home. Seeing people use our plants to liven up a space, knowing that we could improve their everyday lives, brings me so much joy and happiness.

What should our readers know about your business?
Royalty Plants is a branded collection of plants found exclusively at The Home Depot. We placed our focus on choosing the best plants and plant genetics from around the globe to ensure that each and every one of our plants are fit for royalty. We are always excited to find and research new plants to add to our growing collection! It is always exciting to find a rare or exotic plant or a plant with unique genetic traits that really set them apart from the plant crowd. Speaking of standing apart from the crowd, we have just as much fun making them stand out in stores! When you walk into The Home Depot garden center, look out for a stunning purple pot with a crown on it. Once you have finished taking in the beautiful, luxurious purple color of the pot, shift your gaze to our plant tags. The top is shaped like the crown of our logo! Royalty needs a crown, right?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We all need to take a moment and thank the people, organizations, institutions, and experiences that brought us to where we are in life. Everyone and everything teaches us a valuable lesson (or two) in life. Personally, I would like to shout out to my wonderful family and professors at The University of Florida for teaching me and instilling in me the importance and passion of plants. Of course, we have to shout out The Home Depot as well! You can only find the Royalty Plants brand at The Home Depot. We have to thank them for allowing us to successfully share the joy of plants by welcoming us into their stores.
