Hi Jenny’s, how do you think about risk?
When you sit back & think almost everything in life has to do with risk taking. Taking the risks or not taking plays a huge factor in your life, Your life can literally change in a second just because you took that risk but if you don’t it can keep you in the same position as before. A lot of times people get comfortable & get too scared to take a risk, comfortability can literally keep you from reaching your dreams. I was one of those people but I had to snap out of it & realize i want more for myself so i took a risk & opened my own business. Taking that risk was the best thing i ever did & now i own my first official suite as MUA & physical store for my online shop.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Hi, my name is Jenny & I’m a 22yr old makeup artist. I just opened my first shop located in North Lauderdale, Fl. Im very excited to get a chance to provide an exceptional experience to all of my Customers. Running a business is not easy but Honestly giving up is not even a option for me. You can pause but never quit, no matter how hard it gets you got to keep pushing. Just know if you came this far things can only get better. Some days you will feel defeated but just think back to why you started your the business. I have a 2yr old son & As a parent i think the most important thing I’ve done is chase my dreams. Chasing my dreams means everything to me & my son because I’m trying to build a wonderful life for us. The fact that i became a entrepreneur opened a world full of possibilities for us. As in he can travel at a young age, receive better education, start a bank account for him so that when he’s older he can take on the world. Those are the things that matter to me most, Basically breaking generational curses.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of my favorite places in Fort Lauderdale are Trapbachi, Pearl of the island & Bar Rita. Those the places i would hang out & eat at because of the atmosphere. I love places i can just vibe & chill.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I just want to give a shoutout to god. I know for a fact I’m not operating off my own strength so i just want to thank god for keeping me going. My faith is what opened a lot of doors for me & im forever grateful.
