We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Lagomarsino and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Life has a funny way of putting you on your path. I was building my career in corporate healthcare, focused on strategy and project management, and then I moved to Miami without knowing anyone. I started meeting women who had their own businesses or dreams of starting one, and through friendship during my free time, I naturally stepped into a role of support, helping them bring structure and clarity to their work.

Over time and through my own transformation, it all became clear. This was more than something I enjoyed, it was what I was meant to do. My strength is guiding women in business, helping them build with confidence and intention. That is how Cusp of Something was born.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Cusp of Something is a business consultancy with a fresh approach. It was born from a deep desire to support women in a way that blends structure, intuition, and purpose. What sets me apart is how I guide others, not just through strategy but through the inner work that makes sustainable success possible. I believe in doing things differently, leading with clarity, and continuing to move forward without losing yourself in the process.

I offer hourly consulting, project-based support, and full-scale guidance from idea to launch. Whether clients need strategic direction, business clarity, or energy realignment to remove blocks and step into alignment, my work helps them build with confidence and intention.

Entrepreneurship is not about having all the answers, it is about trusting yourself enough to take the next step. The biggest lesson I have learned is that clarity comes through action, not overthinking. The more I followed what felt right, the more my work took shape in a way that felt expansive rather than forced.

Success does not have to come at the cost of burnout or misalignment. Cusp of Something exists to help women build something that feels good, works well, and creates real impact.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Mornings start with a long walk through South Pointe Park to the beach. Yoga at Hanu is part of my daily routine, so if you are visiting I will probably bring you along. Sundays are for Vizcaya and the farmers market, and dinners at Mandolin are always a favorite. And you can’t come to Miami without a sunset at The Standard.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank my close friends, family, and mentors for their unwavering support; they have truly shaped my journey. I also appreciate the community and clients I have had the privilege of working with, whose challenges and shared successes inspire me to continuously grow and excel.
