We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnna Allen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Johnna, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind The Feminine League, is that we create lanes and turn your passion into your empire. We are non for profit and only seek to help women entrepreneurs while giving them opportunities to grow in the business industry. No more stereotypes or being compared to men only being known as CEOs.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have been working in sale for over 15 years and I am college graduate with a bachelors in business management and currently in graduate school getting my MBA. What sets my business apart from others is we are not in it for money, it’s solely based on the passion I have for entrepreneurship to lead women to greatness. I am most proud about the challenges that I have overcome along the way and seeing my growth as a business woman in Miami. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that every thing happens for a reason and that if you don’t believe in yourself than no one else will. I’m hoping the world will embrace my brand because we pride ourselves in creating lanes for women in business turning away from the boxes that they have put women in this industry for many years.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would definitely have the best week! Brunch at little hen in midtown
Dinner at the Gramercy in coral gables
Wood tavern on the weekend in Wynwood
Lunch at North Italia in Kendall
Live music at copper blues in doral

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my mother who has been the biggest inspiration to all my success. Single mom raising two kids alone, she is the hardest working woman I know and she did it with dignity. You are my hero and everything I want to be thank you mom for all your sacrifices.
