Hi Joyce, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk means opportunity, I’ve taken every single risk I’ve ever could for my career and my company, as long as you analyse the pros and cons and do risk management and plan ahead accordingly, love taking risks, if you don’t, entrepreneur isn’t the right route for you.

Joyce Wang graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, has worked as a designer in fashion leading companies such as BESTSELLER, INDITEX and LUXOTTiCA(first pair of sunglasses she designed was for gucci while working at luxottica).

joyce wang focus not only in fashion design but also art directing, ad concept&production(ad production company the studio. (hongkong/shanghai) parter, fashion styling, branding and vi, product design, project management.

JOYCE WANG HAS HELD FASHION SHOWS IN MIAMI, PARIS, NYC, HONGKONG, SHANGHAI, GUANGZHOU. JOYCE WANG ECO FASHION HAS BEEN REPORTED BY ELLE MAGAZINE, GLOBAL TIMES, WGSN, MOJO FASHION MAGAZINE(RUSSIA), TEMPER FASHION MAGAZINE(Nyc/Antwerp/Shanghai/Beijing), SIX FASHION MAGAZINE(NYC), INTERNATIONAL CHANNEL SHANGHAI, AUSTRIAN DAILY, CITYWEEKEND, SMARTSHANGHAI, TIMEOUT, SOHU.COM, HAIBAO.COM, SHANGHAI FASHION WEEK. JOYCE GOT INVITED TO BE A GUEST SPEAKER FOR ECO DESIGN FAIRS MULTIPLE TIMES AND GOT INVITED TO HOLD WORKSHOPS IN SEVERAL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS IN SHANGHAI AND HONGKONG IN ORDER TO PASS THE SUSTAINABLE CONCEPT TO THE YOUNG GENERATIONS.

Fashion brand named JOYCE WANG eco fashion was founded in 2015 by Joyce, which focus on sustainable fashion from design to production and distribution.

Sustainable methods:
– 80/20 method – zero waste direction: brand does 80% of the collection designs and complete the 20% with cut out waste fabrics
– sizeable direction – create pieces can adjust sizes on its own, cut down stock/ transportation/ space
-family owned factories (made by order/ limited production/ flexible quantity).
-market stock fabric only.(every brand should stop creating new fabrics till current world stock is at it’s 30% stock, if all the brands stop producing new fabrics, about 3-5 years, joyce wang eco fashion will always be the brand that continue using stock fabrics, when it runs out, the style will update with a new fabric that would fit the look and shape(UNLESS IT’S SUSTAINABLE MATERIAL).

Was it easy? It’s been 9 years of continuous building and it’s still just the beginning of what I want to do as a fashion designer, as an entrepreneur, as a mother, sky is the limit really, hoping to connect and continue the road with like minded individuals and businesses that are consistently executing their dreams that has valuable impact for the society and the earth we live in instead of words they can’t keep.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
