We had the good fortune of connecting with Judit Juhasz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Judit, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Being on the Ketogenic Diet for more than a year, and losing 40 pounds, and many other health benefits, I realized, there is no such store, where someone could shop in one place everything needed. So I came up with the idea, to help people being on the specific diet, such as Ketogenic, Low Carb, Gluten free or even Diabetes, to find many great products in our store.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our business is very unique. The only one in South Florida. We offer products to our customers to help them achieve their goals, whether they are on the Ketogenic. Low Carb, Gluten Free diet or have Diabetes. I have lost 40 pounds, within a year being on the Ketogenic Diet, so I can set a very good example to my customers if they are about to start. The whole store is built around these kind of diets and we receive many positive feed backs. We are still growing and new items arriving weekly. The Keto community have so much to offer, and we are just trying to keep up. We are selling both online and in store. So probably the hardest part for me to constantly update the inventory online, because I do that manually. Keto Zone Shop is one stop shop for your Keto or Low Carb needs. Plenty of gluten-free and sugar free items.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Before the pandemic I also did tour guiding, so I can definitely recommend so many places. I like to take them to Miami, show them South Beach, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Key Biscayne, Little Havana, Wynwood, Miami Heat basketball game, they love to see the Guitar Hotel and of course the Everglades (Billy Swamp Safari is the most complete for the money) and many more.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and most importantly I like to mention my mother, She’s been there for me in every step for so long. We are still making important decisions together, whether it’s about the business or personal life. I like to thank my friends Hana, Gary, Zsani, Viktor, Dora, Barbara, Erzsi to be positive and to support me from the beginning, It wasn’t easy. I also like to thank the customers, because without them, we wouldn’t have the business.
