We had the good fortune of connecting with Kadina Grant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kadina, how do you think about risk?
I believe risk taking is needed, without it we wouldn’t have the reward that feeling of your hard work paying off. Risk taking allowed me to put faith into myself and my plans knowing that this will either pay off and end in a reward or I will learn a valuable lesson.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been working in sales for about year or so . It hasn’t been easy but overall I have learned patience goes a very long way however what I am more excited about is launching my online boutique this year! Being able to experience different working environments allowed me to gain knowledge on customer service and relations that will benefit with me in this next step. EnvyMe shades is my brand that I am currently working on, my mission is to bring that It girl quality and energy but not with the price tag every time you accessorize with us.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If you ever find yourself visiting Miami you need to try out our food !! Omg we are so diverse in culture, we have spots ranging from Hispanic to Creole cuisine . One of my fav places to get street tacos is Los Jalapeños, their carne Asada tacos and elote is to die for . After you visit one of their food truck locations you can head down to Miami’s own erotic museum; World Erotic Art. It’s tastefully done and it’s not everyday you get to see a very tall golden penis statue . Oh and how can I forget, before leaving Miami renting a jet ski is a must, we have the perfect weather to jump on one to drive to a little island and meet some new friends or to even go sight seeing .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
To be completely honest, my past experiences are what truly gave me my motivation. 2018-2020 has been a roller coaster but each of those years I walked out stronger and ready to be better and apply what I had learned into the next step of my life. I would also like to say in early 2020 I started to take my spirituality more serious, I’ve started to grow my faith and In doing so I found something to believe in as well as myself which truly helps and encourage me .
