We had the good fortune of connecting with Jim McMahel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jim, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I don’t mind working for others but want to have the most IMPACT possible and I found by starting my own business, I could increase the amount of positive impact to truly make a difference in my community.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Coming out of a global pandemic, its certainly been a challenge to stay strategic as I build the business. I’ve surrounded myself with a handful of positive and focused thought leaders and strategists that have helped navigate this crazy season.

Luckily, we have been blessed with a good amount of business, but more importantly, a group of clients that have become a community of like minded people with the desire to mentor and promote hope and life, no matter how crazy things get in this world.

My brand and story really is about building lasting relationships, walking side by side with other like minded businesses to collaborate on projects bigger than any of us and leave a lasting impact on our generation.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There is PLENTY to do here in Central Florida and everyone wants to come here since its a bit of a paradise, based on where I come from in Indiana. When family or friends come to visit, they always want to go to Disney or Universal, so that’s a given.

Disney Springs has an amazing gluten free bakery, so when I go to Disney, I always stop by there to stock up. Best gluten free bakery in town, in my opinion!

Then, some Cuban food is in order… A small place called Havanas Cuban Cafe, by the Florida Mall is AMAZING and consistent in their food.

Then, a trip to the beach is always a good thing for a sunrise or sunset. Its nice to live in paradise!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my wife for her huge support, my kids for walking through the ups and downs, my mentors for guiding me through challenging circumstances and encouraging me to stay focused and positive when things got tough.

Above all, I’d like to praise God for His provision, guidance and love as I continue to seek Him and be used by Him to speak life into this world while I am here!
