We had the good fortune of connecting with Kasey Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kasey, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Indigo Virtual Solutions was born out of corporate burn out. I was exhausted with building someone else’s dream and fortifying someone else’s brand with little reward to myself other than lost time and increasing health issues. The desire to use my actual talents and skills toward my own personal and business goals outweighed the initial fear I had when I left my 9-5. I felt my creativity was being stifled and time was slipping away from me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets Indigo Virtual Solutions apart from an average OBM is creativity and a personal touch. We are more than a task master and executive assistant. We pride ourselves in handling your brand with care and hope to work with you as a co-creator and cheerleader. While we are a new company of 8 months, I have been honing the skills I possess for over 20 years. It is not an easy task to be a solo-preneur, Just as in life, you never stop learning. There is continuous learning and up-skilling to support the evolving market and needs of your clients. While you may want it to, the wins do not come overnight or with ease. Part of being an entrepreneur is staying committed. This is one way I have overcome business challenges. By simply continuing to pour into my brand. If I feel overwhelmed, I will allow myself one day to mope. The next day, I am back to business! I have learned to never stop learning, remain committed, and all success doesn’t follow the same path. I would like the world to know that Indigo Virtual Solutions is your one stop shop for creative business support who will help you cultivate and sustain your brand for the world’s stage

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well Chattanooga has a wealth of amazing dining and entertainment! I’m more of an “I like art type-girl”, shout out Kanye so I would definitely start with Art Bluff District. We could start our day with latte’s from Rembrandt’s and visit Hunter Museum to take in some contemporary art & performance. We’d grab some books to add to our TBR from Allgoods Used Books. For eats we’d keep it traditionally southern and do Tupelo Honey’s Southern Kitchen & Bar and for a fancier girl’s night out dinner Bridgeman’s Chophouse. For drinks we’d do the rooftop bar at The Edwin and Big Chill when it’s time to get a little looser. We could do rock climbing, an escape room, or to take out some of the aggression, a smash room!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have had the pleasure and honor to be mentored by Beth Virtually & Starmichelle Co. as a duo. They demonstrated that neither age, circumstance, nor imposter syndrome should to stop you from chasing your goals. Their success stories were so relatable and they have helped me and many others recognize our potential and claim our greatness!
