Hi Kemyana, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Perfect Salon Suites was birthed from initial conception, to help people. Not only do we provide private and affordable salon space for beauty professionals to do what they love, we provide freedom. Our Salon Suite concept positions beauty professionals to have control of their future, their destiny, their time, their money; which ultimately impacts their quality of life. We provide beauty professionals freedom to express their artistry and talent in their own space on their own terms. The uniqueness of the Salon Suites concept affords beauty professionals to make as much money as they want fueling their passion. At the end of the day Freedom is Peace! It doesn’t just stop with the beauty professional. It is two fold. It flows over into the community, because Perfect Salon Suites bring lots of traffic to local shopping centers, thus helping local businesses thrive. One prime example of this is our newest Miami location inside Mall of the Americas on West Flager. We are proud to announce our grand opening of 26 Beauty Salon Suites, scheduled for Spring 2021. The pandemic has really been challenging on commercial shopping centers, especially malls. We are confident that Perfect Salon Suites will be an asset to Mall of the Americas now Midway Crossings Mall. Our Salon suites bring an array of personal care beauty services to the community, all in one place. The kids can get haircuts, mom can get a massage and a mani-pedi, dad can get a haircut and a shave; all at the same time. Perfect Salon Suites is literally a one-stop shop for the whole family.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets Perfect Salon Suites apart from others is our true commitment to our mission of beauty. We are committed to making the world a beautiful place full of beautiful people. When we say beauty, it is not only skin deep. We are speaking to the hearts of humankind, from the inside. We strongly believe feeling good starts with looking good. We live by our mission statement “To Empower To Give Confidence, To Extend Beauty”. We start by empowering the beauty professional with affordable space to express their art. We create confidence by helping everyone that walks into our establishment leave not only looking good but feeling good. When this is achieved; we are truly extending beauty inside and out. Staying in alignment with our brand’s goals and mission has not always been easy. It took sacrifice, dedication and hard work. Consistency and remaining focused has played a key role in staying on course. In this business it’s very easy to get distracted and discouraged. The Covid-19 pandemic has been a challenging time, especially for the beauty industry. Focusing on gratitude and celebrating the wins no matter how small, is what has helped tremendously. I’ve learned staying committed to my brand’s mission, which is to help and serve others allows me step outside of myself and my own challenges. When I can make a difference and impact someone elses life, this is serving my true purpose. Perfect Salon Suites is not just a beauty space, it’s a space that creates the kind of beauty that can’t be bought. It brings out the beauty that lives within.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Miami is a place rich in diverse cultural eateries and attractions. I am a big foodie. I love quaint eateries. When family and friends come to visit one of my first go to breakfast spots is The Tea Room at Cauley Square in South Miami. It is a little secret gem that has a bird sanctuary and lots of cool eclectic shops. A next must visit lunch spot in Miramar is a Caribbean-style shack, called Coconutz Fusion Cafe serving up exotic Jamaican fare & seafood and their vegan menu is extensive as well. I would be remiss if I did not end the night with Latin vibes including salsa dancing, Latin food and a Latin band at Don Camaron Grill. There are various locations around the city but my favorite is in Hialeah. My other favorite places to take visitors is Little Haiti, Little Havana and South Beach because all of these places offer a little piece of Miami’s heritage.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Honestly I afford all of my success to God. My spiritual connection has been the one consistent source I can always rely on. In my deepest struggle, my most challenging time, and also my most rewarding time, can all be attributed to that spiritual connection. Truly a key to my success is being and staying spiritually grounded. My family dynamic helped me to see the importance of this at an early age. Generationally, from my grandparents to my parents, through my upbringing, it was instilled in me the importance of having a spiritual relationship.
