We had the good fortune of connecting with Konrad Koczwara and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Konrad, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The single most important factor behind the success of our company & brand is our ability to deliver on our promises.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am excited for the future of Elevated Living as I’ve assembled a team that has an entrepreneurial mindset. Great companies are built by great teams and I believe we have that. These last two years we have seen amazing growth and I am excited to take that growth to the next level.

When I first started Elevated Living back in 2018, it was definitely not easy. I chose not to raise money so all of our software development was coming from reinvested profits from my other business. This put us at a huge disadvantage in terms of competitors who opted to raise money from VC firms. One thing that I did not know at the time, was that my decision “not to raise money” actually put me at a huge advantage versus my competitors because it forced me to create a “capital efficient” business model. I’ve seen countless competitors in my space go out of business because they were the opposite of “capital efficient”. Four years, later, I’ve come to realize that a company’s success is solely due to the founders & team.

Our goal at Elevated Living is to become the “Zapier.com” of proptech with an emphasis delivering an exceptional resident experience. Even though we have just over 100k apartment units using our platform I believe that this is just the beginning for our journey and I am excited to see what’s next.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite spots in Miami are the Soho Beach Club . That’s pretty much it. There are plenty of other great spots but I like the relaxing atmosphere at Soho. You can pretty much spend the entire day there – zoom video calls, get a workout, grab lunch, answer some emails at the pool, and go for a quick run on the beach.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate a shoutout to all of the on-site property management professionals who have given me amazing feedback over the years and helped shape my decisions on how I implemented our technology & services. I would also like to thank all of our loyal customers who have continued to rely on Elevated Living to help simplify property management.
