We had the good fortune of connecting with Krupa Purohit and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Krupa, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I learned a lot of my ‘Eyebrow Threading’ skills from my mother, which goes back to my ancestors. I wanted to have a certain level of creative freedom, using products on my clients which are known to be the best in the beauty industry.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My creative way sets me apart from others, since I was young I would love to draw and paint, studying art during college in the UK which gave me the upper hand in my business today. I feel its easy for me to create a brow shape for a client because I have the ability to recognize what type of shape will match a clients face. The same goes with Lashes, clients don’t want others to notice a dramatic change on their faces but a more subtle look. Majority, if not all of my clients are looking to enhance their look in the most natural way possible, which matches up with my work and personality.
I can proudly say I have satisfied all my clients needs.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Miami is a fun city overall, but places to go would be Sunny Isles beach, Coral Gables for lunch or dinner, Wynwood as a day trip with shopping in Design District. Miami Beach at night walking along the strip. Restaurants I like would be Call me Gaby, Planta, Bachour and Hillstone.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My clients definitely deserve a shoutout, for the love and support they have given me over the years. My colleagues and family for the great advice they have given me during my journey.
