Meet La Espe | Singer, songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with La Espe and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi La Espe, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think that taking risks is important, we hear it all the time from successful entrepreneurs and celebrities. But I think that we should always value what we can lose and/or win, after taking that risk and depending on that taking it or not. Also making sure that it’s not our ego of knowing we might not be the best at something be the one that is holding us in order to take risks. Or at least, that’s what I tell myself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Definitely easy it’s not a word I would use, but at the same time I want to say that somehow it feels pre written sometimes. I think that something that helps me a lot is being very in touch with my passion, and being able to get out of my comfort zone all the time, I feel that as people out of our countries, we all do. Don’t we? But the one thing that I think has helped me a lot is feeling useful, feeling that I have a porpoise, and that all the crazy things that obsessed me have a positive impact in some people’s lives. As social beings, we all need to feel we are adding something to society, wether we like it or not, and in my case I found it in music and in performing.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite places in the world right now happen to be in Miami, one of the is the music studio Art House, where I’m studying the Abbey Road production diploma, and the Theater Faena, where I have the pleasure of working as Master of Ceremonies at the Show Carmen.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes, Bita. My Cohost at Carmen in Faena Theater. Also Krizia Victoria Photographer and Actress, and Agustina Borlle also photographer. Krizia and Agustina tooks the photos here.
