We had the good fortune of connecting with Lance Mikkel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lance, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I went the classic college route, received a bachelors degree in business and a masters degree in decision information sciences. After many years working in corporate America, I realized how much I hated what I did for work. I could not imagine decades going to a job I absolutely despised. So starting my own business was the ONLY option. Lastly I got lucky. My 20s and early 30s were very challenging and filled with many disappointing experiences so when I was introduced to life coaching, I did it because I really wanted to fix myself. Turns outs the worst thing that ever happened to me was the best thing that ever happened to me because once I addressed my own challenges, that gave me the ability to help others going through very difficult challenges and help people like Caitlin and Barbara. See videos below.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a life coach that teaches a 30 minute emotional conditioning process to rewire the brain to feel better, faster, quicker and NOW. MY book Refocus On Power is appropriately titled “How to get over anything or anyone, and how to do it now.”

Here is a link to the book.

The Refocus On Power 30 minute process is the most powerful of its kind on planet earth. And help people get out of emotional pain back into power within 72 hours. Today I am blessed enough to even be able to teach this to members of the medical community. I am incredibly proud that I am able to help clients get over breakups, divorces, loss of loved ones and within days, and resurrect them from the ashes. Here are some examples from what my clients experience.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I think where I live is the best of the best! Edgewater I am a straight shot, just a 10 minute bike ride to south beach! Which I love to do. Plus still have easy access to Wynwood and Brickell. I even can bike down to Key Biscayne for some tennis. The best of all worlds, and all views is right here in Wynwood. Not to mention my view from my apartment is STELLAR! I absolutely live in the best spot in Miami.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d probably have to give that credit to Tony Robbins as he was the first person who really opened up my eyes to that the brain really can be wired for POWER, JOY, GRATITUDE…..that you really could become independent from your external world for your ability to feel fucking awesome EVERYDAY regardless of your external world.
