We had the good fortune of connecting with Laura Hernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Laura, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success was having inspirational figures in my life that propelled me to keep working hard to achieve my goals. I’ve also had a strong support system during this process that kept me accountable and cheered me on when I needed it the most.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I like to say that I’m a student during the day and a content creator during the night. Last year, I opened an Instagram and TikTok account where I started sharing my travel recommendations and experiences. When I opened these accounts, I believed only my friends and family members would follow me and enjoy my content, as I had never done anything related to social media branding prior. During my first few months on Instagram, this was the case, only my close relatives and friends followed me. But then my account started gaining recognition, and everything changed. I noticed that my following started increasing, and people who did not know me in person, interacted with me online. I began to engage in a beautiful community of people who enjoyed travel and food as much as me, and my following started growing, which lead me to continue posting. I am beyond proud of the community I have helped build, as I believe my platform enables people to engage with content they feel particularly connected to.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
