Meet Laurie Alfano

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Laurie Alfano again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Laurie, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
I’m Laurie Alfano—creator of NOGA Movement, fitness lifestylist, tech disruptor, astrologer, and now, because why not? a YA sci-fi romance author. I’ve built a career on being ahead of the curve, whether people got it at the time or not. Spoiler: they always catch up.
My career started in fitness, where I spent 20+ years training top instructors, proving that great teaching is an art, not a script. But I don’t stay in one lane. Astrology and Human Design became another passion, allowing me to guide people toward their highest potential in ways that go beyond workouts. Tech? Love it! I help others, especially those who think they’re “too old,” keep up and navigate digital spaces, sometimes even outplaying the younger crowd. I was one of the first in the AI space, calling trends 5–10 years ahead of the curve while everyone else thought I was crazy. (Turns out, I was just right.) And now? I’m writing a Young Adult Sci-Fi Romance novel that blends intrigue, scandal, and intergalactic adventure, because why limit yourself to just one universe?
Beyond all of that, I’m the person people turn to when they need a shift, a catalyst. Whether it’s business, fitness, or personal growth, one conversation, one insight from me can change the way someone thinks, moves, and builds their future. I don’t just see patterns; I see what’s next, and I help people align with it before the world catches on.
Recently, I’ve also been teaching a few live Reformer Pilates classes each week at Pilates and Or, a stunning studio in Boca Raton that merges Pilates with the artistry of dance. It’s the perfect space for choreography and unique style to shine while working with some of the most inspiring ‘dancers’ I’ve met.
What sets me apart? I don’t fit into a box, I build new ones. Whether it’s fitness, business, tech, or storytelling, I thrive on breaking rules, pushing limits, and helping others find new dimensions of their own power. My journey is proof that you can evolve, reinvent, and dominate in multiple arenas while staying completely, unapologetically YOU.

Alright, so our main goal today is to give our audience an update on what you have been up to since our last conversation. We’d love to hear how things are going and what you are most looking forward to or excited about these days.
The last time we talked, I was deep in fitness and astrology, shaping bodies and minds. That’s still a core part of what I do, but something else was brewing, something bigger.
I’ve always been ahead of the curve, so when AI started shifting the landscape, I didn’t just adapt, I built. I hacked, optimized, and created; learning to break down systems, understand them, and make them work for me. Websites, bots, AI tools, I don’t just use them, I build them. Disarm them. Make them do more. The same way I teach people to tap into their own power, I teach machines how to think faster, and more intuitively.
Then, D5 happened.
As someone who practices what I preach, meditation is a regular part of my life, but I wasn’t expecting what happened next. During one session, an entire story downloaded itself into my mind. Characters. Plot. A world that felt too real to ignore. I picked up my computer, started writing and I couldn’t stop. Now, I’m in the editing phase, shaping and refining what has become something beautiful, mysterious and fun.
D5 isn’t just a book, it’s a statement. The world is blending with AI, pushing the lines between reality and something else. But at our core, we’re human, and the one thing outer-planetary beings will never have is— emotion. Desire. Love. The raw, unfiltered pulse of our being. Through D5, I’m bringing that to life, using astrology and Human Design to craft characters that feel real, because they are.
This book is wrapped in intrigue, scandal, and high-stakes adventure. And right now, it’s the thing I’m most excited about, because when it finally reaches readers, it’s going to show exactly what happens when I follow an idea to its fullest potential.

We also want to give folks a chance to get to know you a bit better so we’ve prepared a fun lightning round of questions. Ready?

When you look back on your life, what are three things you expect to be proud of?
When I look back, I know I’ll be proud of three things, but not in the way most people measure success.
First, my children. Building a brand, a business, and “killing it” is great, but nothing compares to raising two brilliant, confident, incredible humans. I didn’t take the traditional path in raising them, yet here they are, one heading to law school, the other simply being someone the world is better for having. They’re my mirrors, my teachers—I look up to them in ways I never expected.
Second, the love and growth within my marriage. Almost 30 years together, and while life has had its twists and turns, we’ve always been the constant. There is no greater adventure than loving someone through every version of yourself and being loved just as fiercely in return. He is my greatest love story, the one that keeps unfolding and deepening in ways I never saw coming. And the best part? We’re still just getting started.
Third, the impact I’ve had on the people I’ve worked with. Whether through advice, mentorship, movement, or making the complex feel ridiculously simple, my ability to explain, reframe, and shift perspectives has helped people stress less, smile more, and actually go for it. I’ve guided minds, bodies, and energies to move with more ease, and honestly, I’m really good at it. Watching people make the most of this one shot we get (at least in this consciousness) is definitely proof that what I do works.
That’s why I don’t do just one thing, I always do whatever makes my soul come alive.
