We had the good fortune of connecting with Marley Tulloch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marley, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
If your going to watch other people in your field, make sure it’s purely for motivation. Never compare yourself to someone else!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I enjoy photography, I am most proud of the growth I’ve accomplished & personal connections I’ve made in such a short time here in South Florida. I’m still a long ways from where I see myself. Along the way the biggest lesson I have learned, is to never compare yourself to anyone and always stay focused on your personal goals. I want the world to know that I never give up, and to be on the look out for Marleyent.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had a friend visiting I would take them to a few hidden gems in the tri county area. For starters I would take them to “Society” on Los olas to check out the new Daniel Popper sculpture & then take them for some bomb drinks and tacos at “El Camino” which is also conveniently located in the downtown Los olas area. I enjoy going down to Miami as well, there’s so much culture and good vibes. My absolute favorite restaurant is a place called “Noa cafe” located down in Edgewater, extremely fresh Peruvian food. After checking out “Noa cafe”, I’d likely end the weekend by relaxing at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. That’s usually how I like to spend my time outside of work, exploring new outside environments and eating good food.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout-out HANDY Inc., (located in a Broward county) and personally thank my mentors LaForest Nardege, & Gabrielle Richards. If it were not for this organization, and these ladies I would not have the persistent drive I have & I would not be where I am today!
