Hi Leo, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk-taking has been a huge part of my journey, especially in real estate. When I went full-time, I watched my savings dwindle, and it was scary. But I burned all my ships behind me—do you know what that means? It means leaving no option but to move forward and succeed. That fear pushed me harder than ever. I believe risks are essential; they push us out of our comfort zones and make us bet on ourselves. Every risk I’ve taken has brought me closer to my dreams.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’d love to share! My business is about helping people find their dream homes in sunny Florida, and what sets us apart is our genuine care and dedication to our clients. We’re not just selling homes; we’re building lasting relationships.

One of the things I’m most proud of is the trust and connections we’ve built with our clients. I’m also excited about our podcast, “The Real Estate Talk Podcast,” which I co-host with my brother Durid. We’re bringing fresh ideas to the table that no one has done before to help buyers and sellers navigate the market.

People often think this business is easy, but it’s not. If you want to try, come over for 24 hours and show me what you can do. The reality is that it takes a lot of hard work and determination to succeed in real estate.

I’ve learned that resilience and taking calculated risks are key to overcoming challenges. My brand is built on passion, hard work, and a genuine love for helping people find their perfect home.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First, we’d kick off the day at South Beach in Miami. Because, let’s face it, who doesn’t love starting the day with some sun and sand? After soaking up some rays, we’d jump in a boat for a river cruise in Miami Downtown—get ready for some amazing views and maybe a little splash!

For lunch, we’d head to Louie Bossi’s Ristorante for some delicious local flavors. Then, it’s off to explore the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens for a bit of history and beauty (gotta balance the beach vibes with some culture, right?).

Miami is such a fantastic city with its vibrant cultural spots and incredible vibes. The mix of art, history, and lively atmosphere is what makes it so special. And if it starts raining, no worries—I’ll just tell my friend to wait a few seconds because, hey, it’s Florida and the sun will be back in no time!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I want to give a huge shoutout to my amazing life partner, Lexi Her unwavering support and love have been the foundation of everything I do. There’s something magical about having someone who believes in you wholeheartedly.

Next, a big shoutout to the Laurie Reader team. This incredible team has had a massive impact on my career and success. Special recognition goes to our powerful leader, Laurie Reader. Her inspiration and push forward have been game-changers for me.

And last but not least, I want to give a shoutout to myself. Yes, you heard that right! For persevering through all the challenges and circumstances life has thrown at me. Thank you, Leo (and yes, that’s my zodiac sign, too—fitting, right? LOL).
