We had the good fortune of connecting with Lex Fine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lex, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Life is all about risks. Taking risks is one of the major keys to success. Opportunities always appear, and without taking the risk to say YES to that opportunity, you will never know if that is the opportunity that takes you to financial freedom.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart from others is my versatility as an artist. I am not afraid to try new and unconventional things in my music. To date, I am most proud of my two placements on two major artist’s mixtapes. ‘Fat Joe’ featured my song ‘Hollywood’ on a mixtape entitled ‘Familia’, in the same month, ‘Hollywood’ was also featured on a mixtape called ‘End Games’ hosted by ‘The Game’. I owe a lot to what I am doing now to the ‘Pandemic Shutdown’, due to the fact that we were forced to stay home, i decided to take a talent i was once passionate about, and bring it back to life. Fast forward a year later, and I have 7 songs released that I am currently promoting, three music videos, two more in the works, and an album set to be released in 2022. I give my full respects to any artist taking their music serious and making a career out of it, because let me tell you, it is not easy. I’ve overcome many difficult obstacles, and im mentally prepared for more, but consistency is key. One thing I’ve learned as a recording artist is that you must have the proper presentation, the first impression is very important, especially when approaching investors, venues, and music executives. I want the world to hear my story and follow me along my journey as an artist.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my friend was coming to visit, the first thing we’d do is check out the art & food in wynwood. We might go to the beach and check out some of the hotspots. Definitely coming out to one of my shows, and the studio a few times throughout the visit. My friends are very passionate about music like myself, couldn’t think of a better time than at a studio being creative.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
None of what I am doing today could not be possible without the help of my producer Brandan Toledo from Miami Beat Wave. He has believed in me since day 1, and vice versa.
