We had the good fortune of connecting with Lexy Mogul and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lexy, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think about the risk by always reassuring myself that the risk that I am taking is for the greater good. One of my favorite quotes from Christy Raedeke is, “If there is no risk, there is no reward.” I love that quote because taking risks may open new doors you never thought we’re possible. If there is one thing I will do in life will be to always take the risk because if I don’t I will live with that horrible “what if” feeling.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love trying recommended food items and I love reinventing people’s favorite items into something new for them to try. I think what sets me apart is my courage to try something that most people wouldn’t or something most people would look over. I am most proud of being people’s favorite food page and food inspiration page. I love when people tag me in their recreation videos or trying a recipe I’ve posted and enjoying it. My tenacity has got me to where I am today. Everyday won’t be perfect and the world was not built in one day. Slow and steady always wins the race. I’ve been creating content for a year now and I am proud to see how far I’ve come in a year. I know my story is still being written and that is the most exciting part of this journey.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a friend comes to Orlando to visit me the first place we might go would be Hash House a Go Go. I enjoy their breakfast, I always leave there super full and satisfied. To work off all of that good eating we would go to Top Golf to get a little bit competitive and to enjoy the vibes Top Golf has to offer. After all that sweating and hard work we would drive to The world’s largest McDonalds on international drive for a snack and to enjoy the arcade. Lastly, to end the day off we would go to city walk for drinks at Fat Tuesday and dinner at one of the restaurants there.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout any and everyone who is a fan of my videos. I appreciate every comment, every like, every repost and every share. The love from my supporters keep me going so for that I will always be grateful and show my gratitude. Thank you to all 100,000 of you on tiktok and 20,000 of you on instagram!!
