We had the good fortune of connecting with Lidieth Peguero and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lidieth, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to create something different and unique that would capture attention as well as to represent the wearer with the energies vested in these natural gemstones.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Everything started with the idea of providing Unique and beautiful jewelry, sending a message to our target audience to be Unique, to represent oneself, and to wear jewelry that makes you feel good and stand out while at the same time connecting you with nature. The meaning of the precious stones adds a purpose to each design.
I am proud of how long I have come, I am proud to see people like the designs and how they style it into their day-to-day life.
I have grown a lot professionally over time due to opportunities and circumstances that have prepared me for the next step and made me wise to make the right connections, create the designs, and offer them to the public. It has not been easy, I have gone through a series of challenges since the beginning because as you can imagine, creating a brand and trying to get your message across in today’s society is difficult but if something I have learned over the years is that consistency is key.
I would like the world to know how passionate and committed I am to creating pieces that are different and unique and filled with the energy of nature and how privileged we are to be able to wear something comes from nature and its connected to the different aspects of life and one’s emotions.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being in Miami, I would definitely take them to the beach, there is one spot that I really like to go eat whenever I am at the beach, called Billy’s stone crab for seafood, I would also take them to dance at a place that for me represents Miami, is, Wynwood there you can find different places to dance such as “El Patio”, to eat such as “Mayami” where you can also dance and enjoy a good cocktail, and many other places that will assure you that will make you never leave Miami.
As for me, one of the places I have enjoyed going to lately would be Zey Zey where they usually have Live music, dance floors, LaGniappe, which has similar vibes to Zey Zey, the Miami Improv for a good laugh and quality time. and as far as restaurants, I really like Osaka in Brickell, Miami. Cote in the Miami design district, both have awesome vibes, the food is delicious and there is definitely a lot to do around the area.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout to the people who have been working with me from the beginning, Nat Fleitas who supported and was the first person I worked with regarding the creation of my E-commerce, to my Sister, July, who has been one of my biggest supporters, Aya Roman for her incredible talent with picture taking, capturing every moment as they go, all of the models who worked with me, who are also my friends and have been supportive of my project, and also all of my Family/Friends
