We had the good fortune of connecting with Lindsey Camerota and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lindsey, how does your business help the community?
SoStereo helps independent artists connect with some of the world’s biggest and most influential brands — giving them the opportunity to share their music on a global stage.

We’ve seen artists pay off mortgages, fund tours, and sustain their creative work through the income they earn. For brands, it’s a chance to support real talent with every campaign — turning advertising into a platform for meaningful impact.

What should our readers know about your business?
My company SoStereo is on a mission to provide great music and sound for brands, artists and composers. We built a platform that connects global brands to incredible independent musicians and composers with scalable tech. It’s our answer to the outdated stock music model.

What sets us apart is our belief that music can be both creatively inspiring and strategically effective. Our clients come to us when they want something that actually moves people, not just fills space. And we’re proud that our work has helped emerging artists reach new audiences while elevating brands at the same time.

Getting here wasn’t easy. We’ve been grinding for over ten years, using every meeting with every client as an opportunity to get feedback and fine tune our tech and offerings. We’ve learned to stay focused on what we do best, while evolving with what the industry needs next.

If there’s one thing I want people to know about SoStereo, it’s that we’re proof you can build something that’s creatively meaningful, commercially successful and improves the artist/creator ecosystem.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
After 15 years in New York, I don’t take being outside for granted. When friends visit, we keep it all outdoors—boat days on Biscayne Bay, lunch at Mandolin under the trees, oysters and rosé at Monty’s, walking the trails at Fairchild Garden, or sunset drinks at The Standard. If we have time, we’ll do a day trip to the Keys or catch a Gulf sunset in Naples. Honestly, as long as there’s sun and we’re outside, I’m happy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Honestly, I credit becoming a parent and my kids with most of my success. I used to worry that starting a family would hold me back—but it ended up being the opposite. As a lifelong overthinker, I spent way too much time second-guessing and spinning in place. Having kids forced me to act. There’s no time to overanalyze—you just move, adjust, and keep going. Ironically, I’ve achieved more with more on my plate, because I finally stopped waiting for the “perfect” moment and started trusting myself to figure it out.
