We had the good fortune of connecting with Lindsey Kaszuba and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lindsey, what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
I strongly disagree with most of what diet culture has taught us, especially the idea that dieting or calorie counting is the best way to stay in shape and feel good. This idea leads us to believe that tracking calories in and out is the main component that makes us fit. However, health is about much more than what we eat and how much exercise we get. Dieting is ineffective, and counting calories leaves you feeling inadequate no matter what you do.
What should our readers know about your business?
My business, Lindsey Kaszuba Health was born after I realized that I needed an uncomplicated way of being healthy. I created a business that supports overwhelmed parents to eat, think & move healthier, without it feeling like a chore, because I know how confusing it is to navigate the complex world of health on your own. The result is feeling energized & confident in your choices, allowing you to create healthy habits that *actually* last.
What sets me apart from other health coaches is that I create a tailored-to-you approach for your health & wellness goals. We cover what to eat and how to move, but also uncover what’s been keeping you stuck and exactly what needs to happen next. We’ll replace the overwhelm and common excuses with confidence & ambition to help you create empowering habits that allow you to show up as your most energized & confident self.
Since starting my business, I’ve learned so much about myself and my clients, and I’m very proud of their transformations. Entrepreneurship is a humbling experience, to say the least, and I learn something new every single day. Whether it’s how to build a website, write a blog, or create a TikTok, there’s always something to learn!
Was it easy? Definitely not. It’s still not easy, but I love a good challenge.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being by the water makes me feel grounded so we’d spend the day at the beach. I love the sand in my toes, salt in my hair, and the sun beating down warming every ounce of me. Then we’d go to Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink because I love the greenery and the outdoor area there.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Where do I even start?! There’s been so many. My mentor, Jane, has taught me how to be a true leader. My husband, John, has taught me how to let go and go with the flow. My kids have taught me that there is so much more to life than what we do at our day jobs (although I do really love mine!). My clients have taught me how to go even deeper in my own self-development journey. Some of my favorite gurus that have helped me unlock a new perspective on being human are Gabby Bernstein, Mel Robbins, and Jay Shetty.
