We had the good fortune of connecting with London Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi London, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
At just the age of 9, I embarked on a remarkable journey by founding Londonade and The LondonAid Project. My motivation was twofold: a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of under-resourced children and an immense love for lemonade, a drink that never fails to bring smiles to people’s faces.
My journey began after attending a young entrepreneurs event, where I witnessed the power of innovation and determination. Despite facing challenges associated with ADHD, I was repeatedly told there were things I couldn’t achieve. But I refused to be limited by those doubts, and so I adopted the inspiring moniker “Motivated 2 Inspire.”
To amplify my message of positivity and resilience, I took an extraordinary step and published my very first children’s book when I was just 10 years old. Through Londonade, The LondonAid Project, and my children’s book, I’ve set out to prove that age and obstacles should never deter anyone from making a positive impact and spreading joy.
What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from others: What sets me apart is my relentless determination and passion to create positive change, even at a young age. While many kids my age might be focused on typical childhood activities, I’ve been driven to be an entrepreneur, author, musician, and philanthropist. My multidimensional approach to life sets me apart.
What I am most proud of or excited about:
I’m incredibly proud of the impact my lemonade brand, Londonade, and the Londonaid Project have had on under-resourced kids. I’m excited about the potential to inspire other young individuals to follow their dreams and make a difference in the world.
How I got to where I am today business-wise:
It hasn’t been easy. Starting Londonade was a small idea, but it required hard work, dedication, and the support of my family and community. I learned the ins and outs of entrepreneurship through trial and error, and I’ve invested countless hours into building my brand.
Challenges I’ve overcome, including ADHD:
I faced obstacles in scaling my lemonade business, balancing my schoolwork, and managing my ADHD. The challenges of staying focused, managing time, and maintaining consistency were pronounced. I overcame these challenges by staying true to my vision, seeking mentorship, and developing coping mechanisms to manage my ADHD symptoms effectively.
Lessons learned along the way:
I’ve learned that age should never be a limiting factor in pursuing one’s dreams. I’ve learned the importance of resilience, adaptability, and the power of a strong support system. My journey has taught me the significance of giving back to the community and the immense impact even a young person can make.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand:
I want the world to know that age doesn’t define one’s potential. I want to inspire others to follow their passions, be persistent, and use their success to make the world a better place. Londonade is more than a lemonade brand; it’s a symbol of hope, change, and the belief that anyone can create a meaningful impact in their community and beyond.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my journey to success, I owe my deepest gratitude to God, as it is through divine guidance that I’ve achieved my goals. I want to acknowledge and thank my parents, Claude and Sonya Miller, for their unwavering support and the sacrifices they’ve made to help me along the way. My brother, Chazre, despite our 11-year age difference, is not only family but my closest friend, providing constant encouragement and companionship. I’m immensely thankful to my grandmother, Barbara Miller, and my granddad, Fred McGintis, for their enduring encouragement and support. My extended family, including Tiondra, Beannie, Naeyana, and Michael, has consistently shown up for me, offering their unwavering support and love. My Godmothers, Liz and Shana, have been consistent cheerleaders in my journey, pushing me to grow and excel. Lastly, I dedicate my foundation to the memory of two remarkable individuals, my great-grandmother Alice (Momma) and granddaddy Claude, who, although no longer with me, remain a shining light in my heart and a source of inspiration.
