We had the good fortune of connecting with Lovnyth Valcin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lovnyth, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Honestly, starting my own business just made sense because I love how every day is different. No two days ever look the same, and that keeps things exciting for me. Plus, there’s something really rewarding about knowing that what you put in is what you get out. I love the feeling of building something from the ground up, seeing it grow, and knowing that I created it. It’s such a great feeling to look at my progress and know that I’ve been able to shape something that’s uniquely mine. And the best part? I get to work in a way that aligns with my values and passions, which makes it even more fulfilling.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a licensed real estate professional based in South Florida, helping clients with both their commercial and residential real estate needs. What sets me apart is my deep connection to this area—I am a South Florida native, and I’ve seen firsthand the incredible growth in our communities. Now, I’m excited to be a part of that growth by helping people find their dream homes or the perfect commercial space.

While I’m based in Florida, thanks to my referral network, I can assist clients in buying or selling real estate virtually anywhere—whether local, domestic, or even international. This ability to support clients beyond state lines is something I’m really proud of.

Of course, the journey hasn’t been easy. Stepping into real estate was way out of my comfort zone, but that’s exactly what has fueled my personal growth. Every challenge has been an opportunity to learn and develop in ways I didn’t think possible, and that’s something I carry forward in every transaction.

There are tough moments, as with anything worthwhile, but that is what makes the work so rewarding—helping people who are unsure of the process and guiding them through it. Seeing that “aha” moment when everything falls into place for them is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my job.

Overall, my story is about continuous growth—both for myself and the clients and communities I serve. I am always learning, improving, and excited to make a positive impact through my work in real estate.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d definitely make sure they had the ultimate South Florida experience! Here’s how I’d plan out the itinerary:

Day 1 – Brickell & Downtown Miami
We’d kick off our week in Brickell with a leisurely breakfast at B Bistro + Bakery—the pastries and coffee are to die for! Afterward, we could explore Brickell City Centre and maybe grab a quick workout at the outdoor fitness area. For lunch, let’s indulge in some tasty Peruvian ceviche at CVI.CHE 105.

In the evening, we’d head to The Wharf Miami for dinner, enjoying food from different food trucks while listening to live music right by the water. To wrap up the night, we’d grab cocktails at Sugar, the rooftop bar in the East Miami Hotel, taking in those gorgeous skyline views.

Day 2 – Relaxing at the Beach
For our second day, we’d hit South Beach and spend the day soaking up the sun. We could chill on the sand, swim in the ocean, or just enjoy a good book. Lunch would be at The Local House, and in the evening, we’d enjoy a classic dinner at Joe’s Stone Crab. To finish off the night, we could check out The Broken Shaker for some creative cocktails and a relaxed vibe.

Day 3 – A Day in Wynwood
On our third day, we’d take it easy and head to the Wynwood Arts District. After a leisurely brunch at KYU, we’d stroll through the area to admire the amazing street art and murals. We could spend some time at Wynwood Walls and maybe pop into a few local galleries. For dinner, we’d try out Le Chick, and if we’re feeling up for it, we could hit up Rácket for some drinks and dancing!

Day 4 – Chill Day in Little Havana
Let’s dedicate this day to Little Havana! We’d start with a Cuban coffee at Versailles and then wander around Calle Ocho. We can take our time exploring the shops and culture, stopping for lunch at El Pub for some authentic Cuban food. We could spend the afternoon relaxing, maybe take a salsa class at Ball & Chain, and enjoy live music there in the evening.

Day 5 – Key Biscayne Adventure
For a change of scenery, we’d take a day trip to Key Biscayne. We could explore Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park at our own pace, taking time to climb the historic lighthouse. For lunch, let’s enjoy the views at Rusty Pelican. Afterward, we can just relax on the beach and maybe even have a sunset picnic.

Day 6 – Chill Day at the Miami Design District
We’d spend a leisurely day in the Miami Design District. After a late breakfast, we could do some shopping and check out The Institute of Contemporary Art. Lunch at Swan would be a nice treat. We can take our time enjoying the atmosphere before having dinner at Mandolin Aegean Bistro for some cozy Mediterranean fare.

Day 7 – Exploring Coconut Grove & Coral Gables
On our final day, we’d brunch at Greenstreet Café in Coconut Grove, then explore Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Afterward, we can chill at the Venetian Pool in Coral Gables. For our last dinner, we’d enjoy a relaxing meal at Brandon’s Bistro, and reflect on the amazing week we had.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’ve got to give a huge shoutout to the real estate brokerage that I am a part of—being part of the #1 independent brokerage in Florida has been a total game-changer. The resources and support we have access to are incredible, and the mentorship is on another level. Anytime I have a question or uncertainty, my mentors are just one quick call or text away, ready to help. They’ve selflessly shared their knowledge and experience with me, which has been invaluable to my growth. I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by such a supportive team, and it’s made all the difference in my journey!
