We had the good fortune of connecting with Lucy Oliver and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lucy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
A: The most important factor behind my success and the success of Rē Precision Health is our unwavering commitment to our mission. We are dedicated to sharing tools for nervous system regulation which we believe is fundamental to physical and mental wellbeing. Rē Precision Health began as a passion project to share the tools that were helpful for me to overcome my health issues. I felt there was a missing piece in the current medical model that could help many people dealing with chronic conditions. We have seen hundreds of people have transformational experiences on our programs, some say it saved their lives and others have tattoos of our logo! This is the motivation to keep going.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am most proud of the positive impact that our programs have had on hundreds of people and how that effect ripples out. The results of our Rēset programs far exceeded my expectations. I thought people would find the information interesting and could apply some of the tools in their everyday life. We actually saw lives fundamentally transform. I am also very proud of our Foundation that has provided free programs to Frontline Workers to be better able to manage their high stress, vitaly important jobs. From losing 60lbs after completing our program to being able to release secondary trauma that had caused chronic sleep disruptions, the results astounded me. It definitely wasn’t an easy process to get here and there are still challenges.. I started Rē Precision Health with no savings, no investors, living on $500 a month in Mexico… Financial difficulties, hiring struggles, extortion, trying to be a leader, imposter syndrome, working 15 hour days doing 10 different roles, trying not to be a hypocrite, the emotional rollercoaster, COVID. With grit, finding the joy in problem solving and purpose as motivation to push through the challenging times, I keep expanding my limits of capabilities. Also, walking the talk is so important. Nervous system regulation has been vital to being able to sustain the energy and motivation to keep the company running.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d want to give them a taste of everything the area has to offer. I’d start with a visit to some local wellness spots – maybe training at the DOGPOUND gym at the W South Beach Hotel. From there, I’d book treatments at the Away Spa in that hotel. We’d definitely spend a day exploring the vibrant local culture – visiting museums and art galleries in Wynwood followed by dinner at Fabel Miami! I really just like to be grounded near the ocean and I think overall that is my favorite part of Miami.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people and influences that have shaped my journey, it is tough to know where to start. Rē Precision Health would not be possible without our incredible team – their dedication, expertise and passion are what make our success possible. It would also not exist without the guests who trust us and take the step to do the work to complete the program. Every guest story is inspirational and provides with more insight into the human condition.
