We had the good fortune of connecting with Luis Ojeda, Franz Velasco and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Luis, Franz we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Eatmore Cakes comes to rewire people’s brains about cakes. The only three things we inherited from the old cake concept are Happiness, Joy, and Delicious because our Super Cake Mixes are not just low in calories but also full of nutrients from the most powerful SuperFoods from mother earth. Eatmore Cakes is coming to change the idea of Cakes are cheat meals and desserts, because our cakes are like a meal with good macros and micronutrients.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a fitness and mindfulness passionate who believes we can work together to leave this world and your body better than how we found it. I have a full passion for coaching, leading, helping others to achieve their goals and get the best out of them, either as a project manager or as a fitness coach. I have successfully helped people to improve dramatically their eating habits and fitness level. My process is Listen – Compassion – Understand and Identify the Problem – Plan – Execute – Monitoring – and ALWAYS GIVE feedbacks starting for the positive ones. What set me apart from others is what I was taught from my parent’s Dedication and Love. Combining these two elements together creates a realm full of creativity, and ideas for everyone’s benefit including our customers, family friends, and the rest of the world. We are very proud of creating Eatmore Cakes because we are convinced that food is medicine and that is why we are powering each of our cake mixes with the most powerful superfoods from around the world, all proven to promote heart health, weight loss, improve energy levels, fight cancer and even reduce the effects of aging! All of our packaging is 100% sustainable and we help plant one tree for each cake mix sold as part of our mission of also give back, how not to be proud of this beautiful project? Life is beautiful in everything and in every situation we call ‘challenge I rather call it ‘lesson’ and try to get the very best out of each of them. We were born and raised in a beautiful country in South America called Venezuela full of happy people and opportunities around that time. Our parents always taught me to work hard towards my goals and dreams. I always had their support with love and dedication as I mentioned above. These two big factors have helped me out to no give up, be consistent, but overall appreciate life every second which is the key to make every event in your life worthwhile. We have learned to listen, feel and trust more. No, every situation has to be solved by a written plan because it can be solved simply by trusting your intuition. We want everyone to know that Eatmore Cakes is more than just a business because it is passion, creativity, sustainability, freshness, compassion, love and oneness.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take them to Downtown Strenght and Conditioning for a CrossFit WOD. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We had an incredible support mentorship from our successful entrepreneur friends like Yule, Laura, Dunny, Jessica Banchs, Jessica Bergman and Zack and Becha. Our biggest motivation was creating a good impact in our community by not only offering a super good and nutrilicious cakes but also giving back to mother nature by partnering with one tree planted to plant a tree for every Super Cake Mix sold.
