We had the good fortune of connecting with Lynn Bautista and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lynn, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
At a very young age, I had an interest in fashion and style overall. Loved how you were able to express yourself and your own unique style through clothing, shoes and accessories. When you look good, you feel good and that really lifts up everything in your life. FabMomLynn started out as a page in sharing my inspiration for fashion and styling ideas with the hope of helping other women, especially moms who might not have the time to think about what to wear. FabMomLynn shares beauty tips and products, fashion trends and how to dress on a fixed budget and look fabulous. Lifestyle Ideas on how to live your life to the fullest whether it’s a special place to go to or  easy tasty recipes that you can make.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
FabmomLynn is my passion project. Professionally, today I am Director of Marketing at a large technology company . I have always had a career in marketing in one way or the other. I have a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management. I started my career in fashion working at Gap Inc. Then moved overseas and started working in the technology industry. Through my career I have focused on product marketing, business development and now today working on campaign creation, events and the overall global marketing strategy for the IT division at my company.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I happen to do this all the time. Friends and family come in from the Dominican Republic all the time. I am Dominican and have friends that come to Miami and they usually know where they want to go. Usually, the day would start by picking them up and going to the downtown area, Brunch at Little Hen is a must, followed by Brickell City Center. Usually, lunch would be at Casa Tua followed by a trip to Miami Design district to admire the beautiful fashion and places to see around that area. Go to the rooftop at Dior Cafe for some coffee and sweet treats.

Some other great options are Wynwood, PAMM and let’s not forget Coconut Groove, which is great for walking around and doing some window shopping and you can stop for lunch at The Key Club.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband and 2 boys for the continued support in believing in me, encouragement and for the endless ideas of what to shoot and for sometimes being my photographers. They support and encourage me each and every day. This project also gives me the opportunity to prove to my boys that you should pursue and follow your dreams.
